At Christmas 2004, at the notary's office, I co-founded Vivace Music SPRL with Olivier Taylor. I invested my time, my money, my network. Together, we were going to revolutionize music distribution in Belgium.
What I did not yet know was that from the very first day, Taylor was quietly engineering his business partner's removal.
The facts, plainly stated
On 27 April 2026, the Liège Labour Court issued a landmark ruling: every claim made by Partena and INASTI against me was declared unfounded.
Total victory.
Who is Partena?
Partena is a Belgian social insurance fund. Following my deregistration as a self-employed person — a procedure I contest — Partena and INASTI had demanded contributions they claimed were owed, together with penalties.
After years of proceedings, the Liège Labour Court ruled clearly: their claims have no legal basis.
On 31 May 2026, I filed my appeal application with the Liège Court of Appeal. Case number: 2026/AR/917.
This step marks a decisive moment in a fight that has lasted more than a decade.
Why appeal?
The January 2021 judgment of the Namur Commercial Court was handed down by default — meaning I was neither present nor even informed of the proceedings. Olivier Taylor, director of Vivace Music, had claimed not to know my address when serving the summons.
